This is basically my 'I will start a blog!' post. I am thatstrangediva. Of course that is not my birth name although I have heard of stranger. For example, there's that poor little girl who's parents named her Talula Does the Hula. Just horrible. Anywho, I am starting a blog where I will basically be able to vent a lot of my (many short lived) brilliant ideas or just short lived ideas. I have a lot of hobbies, by which I mean...I think that my hobbies are actually collecting hobbies. Mostly though, I love makeup and nail art. I am in no means a savant of either. I just am really passionate about both. I tried to go to school to do both, but...well..that is a blog for another day.

The idea to do this was born from a phone conversation with my bestie. Who else, right? Hopefully, she will be on here soon. (Fingers crossed). But we both love writing, another hobby of mine, and we thought it was time to step out into the big world of blogging. I have had a LiveJournal for several years, but honestly its very personal. I want something more conversational??? I think that's the word I am looking for lol. I am hoping that this is the beginning of something. I definitely don't want to do that thing where I post twice and let it die. (I have done it before.) But now, this is becoming a rant. So....this is an awkward hello.
