I love to watch random films on Netflix. I have decided that Lo will be the first one that I am going to give my review on. I want to avoid giving out any spoilers for anyone who may decide to watch it.(I personally hate spoilers). I believe this one actually was removed from Netflix, but nowadays there's more than one way to get a hold of a movie.
Diving into this one, I can say I was really worried when I first saw it. In a world filled with awesome CG and high def, it could be considered lacking visually. However, at the same time I think that there is an exception for this one. It's more like you are watching a play and I am a sucker for theatrics. I will say that the acting is a little over the top and musical numbers burst out of nowhere, but buried in all of this...is a great story. It's an unconventional love story. A man summons a demon to get back the love of his life. He is willing to face a demon. She must have had him whipped lol. No, seriously. The story is what shines here. If I were to give it a rating, I am going to have to give this one 6.3/10. Yeah, were did that decimal come from because its not fully deserving of a 7, but not just a 6.
This review hasn't helped anyone has it? Lol...well for that I apologize.
