Non-Traditional Wedding Rings: Topaz
My loving boyfriend of three years asked me about the type of engagement ring that I want. I know that a lot of people might find that hard to understand, but we pretty much know we are getting married the secret is just when he is going to propose. But I am a very non-traditional bride, so it is kind of one of those things that he was very wise to ask about. I don't even want to wear a white dress at my wedding. Just keep in mind these are all my opinion and my style, or if your my boyfriend a how-to guide for ring shopping.

Allow me to introduce you to my favorite is the "almost, but not quite a diamond" look: White Topaz. I like white topaz because if you are like me and like a little size, this is a way to achieve it without having to take out a second mortgage. Diamonds are a girls best friend, and white topaz is like your favorite cousin. After that is pretty much any other color topaz. It comes in such gorgeous colors, there is definitely a hue out there for the unconventional bride.

There are gorgeous yellows. I think that with the right metal to back them up they can create a great regal effect. I have seen a ring that was absolutely gorgeous, but I can't find anything like it on the internet to share. I highly recommend that you give this one a chance and see what options you can find. You may be pleasantly surprised.

I think that this has accidentally become a series because I was going to cover all of the rings in one blog, but life is calling me and I have to end this here, but I shall surely come back with more (if I remember to). I have barely scratched the surface. There are many more hues of topaz and unfortunately I can't go through them all but there is a ring out there for you or your significant other that screams "This is you." Until next time...
